Statement of Faith

Real Life Learning Center

We believe in:

Christ is the foundation of everything we do. Our students are exposed to the Bible and the presence of the Holy Spirit daily, through dedicated time for chapel and materials that foster a love for learning, instilling Christian principles, our students grow in their walk with God, while we guide them on a journey of love for God, faith, and community.

  • The Scripture, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and the revelation of God to man. The infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
  • The one God, as manifested in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Who created man by a direct act;
  • The pre-existence, incarnation, virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension to heaven, and the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ;
  • The fall of man, the need of regeneration by the operation of the Holy Spirit on the basis of grace, and the resurrection of all to life or damnation;
  • Fallen man’s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ and is evidenced inwardly by the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:16) and outwardly through a life of righteousness and true holiness.
  • The spiritual relationship of believers in Christ, living a life of righteous works, separated from the world, and witnessing of His saving grace; and
  • The infilling of the Holy Spirit for all believers, with the evidence of speaking with other tongues, and the manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit with signs following them that believe.
  • Marriage as a God ordained institution between a man and a woman and is legitimate only as such.

Message from our Director Karis Morales

Real Life Learning Center was established by Vida Real Church (Real Life), a congregation that is predominantly made up of Hispanic immigrants and that was successful in establishing a Christian private school that serves students in kindergarten through Ninth grade.

We planned to open the first learning center since September 2021. However, the school board in Somerville, Massachusetts, denied our request to let a local church run a religious school because of our core beliefs as Christians.

We were able to establish RLLC in 2023 with the assistance of the Massachusetts Family Institute (MFI) and the First Liberty Institute, and now we are able to instruct with God as the focal point of our education.
